This policy describes how {{COMPANY_LEGAL_NAME}} (“we”) handles personal data in connection with the website at https://www.trazadb.com and the Traza Cloud service.

This website

The website sets no cookies and loads no third-party trackers. Our hosting provider may record standard request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, time) for security and operations.

Account data

When you create an account we process your email address, name and avatar (if you sign in with GitHub, as provided by GitHub), your organization memberships and roles, session records (a hash of the session token, creation and last-seen times, IP address and user agent), and an audit log of changes made in your organization. If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor collects your payment details; we receive only billing identifiers, plan and invoice status.

We use this data to provide and secure the Service, bill for it, and contact you about your account. The legal bases are performance of our contract with you and our legitimate interest in securing and improving the Service.

Customer Data

The traces and other content you send to the Service (“Customer Data”) may contain personal data about your own users. We process it only on your behalf and on your instructions, as described in the Data Processing Agreement. We do not sell it and do not use it to train machine-learning models.

Retention

Customer Data is kept for your plan’s retention period (14 days on Free, 30 on Pro, 90 on Team, or as agreed) and then expires. Deleting a project erases its data. Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted within a reasonable period after you close it, except records we must keep for legal, tax or security reasons.

Sharing

We share personal data only with the subprocessors listed at Subprocessors, with destinations you configure (such as your Slack workspace or webhook endpoints), when required by law, or in a corporate transaction with notice to you.

International transfers

The Service is hosted in {{HOSTING_REGION}}. Where personal data is transferred across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Contact privacy@trazadb.com. For Customer Data, contact the organization that sent it to us; we will assist them.
